Culture, Food, Beauty – Join our Private Discovery Tours to all that’s out there

Knowing more and trying harder. This is what we rely upon to design and guide our Discovery Tours. Such an approach comes with its own limitations: we will never show you places where we have not lived at a point of our life. Which, in practice, means we will never offer tours to Tanzania, Iceland and many other wonderful places. The upside ? Wherever we will take you, we will share the kind of experiences and insights that only very discriminating and well informed locals can provide. To live up to this promise, we made, from the start, another unusual decision: to guide every single tour ourselves.

As an international couple with colorful and diverse careers, we have lived in many places, from Alsace to Los Angeles and from Southern Germany to New Mexico, not to mention, among a few more, Umbria and the Isle of Man.

These are the places we invite you to discover with us—and we will do everything to make them unforgettable.

UNITED KINGDOM - ISLE OF MAN - IRELAND

From our launch pad on the intriguing, one-of-a-kind Isle of Man—a place where Philippe spent 7 years of his life—we will explore, among others, the island’s rugged coastline, mountains, rather unexpected menagerie of tailless cats, six-horned sheep and sunbathing seals, the delightfully Victorian, seaside town of Douglas. we will also visit several outstanding eateries. Liverpool, Chester and Dublin, a ferry ride on each side of the Irish Sea, will provide us with cityscapes as diverse as they are fascinating—to say nothing of different takes on urban ambience.

THE CALL OF THE ALPS: SOUTHERN BAVARIA AND THE SALZBURGER LAND –  PEEK PREVIEW

Drawing on his intimate knowledge of Southern Germany, where he spent 26 years of his life and raised his three sons, Philippe has designed an insider’s tour of what is probably the most beautiful part of Germany and adjacent Austria. Expect a stunningly preserved medieval city, fairy tale castles, some of the best museums in Europe, a couple of first-class musical events and truly excellent food: Munich alone has no less than 24 Michelin Star restaurants.

THE GREEN HEART OF ITALY: FALLING IN LOVE WITH UMBRIA –  PEEK PREVIEW

ITALY

For quite a few years, Umbria has been Olga and Philippe’s second home. They have crisscrossed the ‘Cuore Verde’ frome Narni to Lake Trasimeno and from Gubbio to Orvieto, since Perugia and Assisi are far from being the only places of interest in this area of rolling hills, forest-covered mountains and innumerable, many centuries old towns and villages in the middle of the olive groves. We will show you, as usual, the highlights as well as the hidden treasures. Be prepared for some extraordinary food: in Umbria the hearty, central Italian cuisine is at its very best.

Sublime discoveries at every turn—in a gourmet’s paradise
